A University of New Brunswick researcher is teaming up with IBM to launch a new software program that will speed up Java applications, allowing them to run on various operating systems. Kenneth Kent’s Java Virtual Machine technology will employ about 20 staff and 20 computer science students at the university’s Fredericton campus.
