Haligonians express worry over threatened transit strike

No agreement was reached after 48 hours of negotiations between HRM and the transit union. The union can legally strike on Feb. 2 from 12:01 a.m. Haligonians are using ride matching websites and classifieds, such as Kijiji and Reddit for carpool options. Twitter users now look for rides by putting #DartmouthRide and #HFXcarpool in tweets.
