Weekend Sports Preview: St. Mary's Soccer Goes for CIS Championship

Schedule of major sports team matches (Nov. 11-13).

This weekend, the St. Mary's Men's soccer team is playing for the CIS Championship in Victoria, B.C. The Huskies beat McGill 2-1 in Thursday's quarterfinal match. Elvir Gigolaj and Ian Coke were the team's two goalscorers.

The semifinal takes place on Friday against University of Alberta at 8:30 p.m. AST. If St. Mary's wins, they will play in the final against the winner between Cape Breton and Victoria on Sunday at 6 p.m.
