The audience at the 16th Mr. Mount drag queen and drag king show was treated to a great event Friday night.

With about 350 tickets sold and half the proceeds going to Trans Lifeline, it was a huge success.

The room was filled with electric energy, and the four contestants didn’t disappoint.

The show opened with an inspiring speech from MSVU Student Union president Paul Whyte and Mount Pride co-president Abbey Ferguson, supporting the queer and transgender communities.

Host Brandy Michaels made the crowd laugh along with co-host Bogo. All four contestants were winners, but it was Sophie Sweet who took the title of Mr. Mount 2015.
