Students looking to study at the Killam Library will have to relocate. A water main break forced the facility to close at 3p.m. this afternoon. The library on Dalhousie’s main campus has flooding in the mechanical space on the basement level. Contractors and staff are on-site working to fix the problem and have shut off the water supply to the library. Facilities management supervisor Glen Deveau says, “I’m in the middle of doing everything I can to get it fixed as soon as possible.” Killam Library is expected to re-open at 7a.m. tomorrow. Students can check Dalhousie’s Twitter account (@Dalnews) for updates or the library’s website.
